Renewlist

Terms of Use

Effective September 5, 2026

The rules for using Renewlist, a simple subscription manager.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Roscommon Group LLC ("Renewlist", "we", or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using Renewlist, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; these Terms supplement it and do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

2. What Renewlist is—and is not

Renewlist is a personal recordkeeping tool for tracking subscription information you enter. It does not make payments, cancel subscriptions, access your bank or card accounts, verify merchant information, reconcile statements, or provide financial, tax, legal, credit, or investment advice. Amounts, billing dates, summaries, and forecasts are estimates derived from your entries and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You remain solely responsible for reviewing bills, managing subscriptions, and making payment decisions.

3. License and acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Renewlist on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple's usage rules. You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, bypass security or technical limits, introduce malicious code, infringe another person's rights, or use the app in violation of law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived, including rights to reverse engineer where applicable law expressly permits it.

4. Your data and device

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and sensitivity of information you enter, and for maintaining any backups you need. Do not enter payment credentials, account passwords, security codes, or other highly sensitive information in payment-method labels. Renewlist may store records locally and, when available and enabled by you, sync them through your private iCloud account. We do not guarantee that local storage, iCloud, Apple services, backups, or any app feature will be uninterrupted, available, or error-free.

5. Free use and lifetime premium

The current offering allows up to three subscriptions without premium. A one-time, non-consumable lifetime-premium in-app purchase unlocks the app's full features for the applicable Apple Account, subject to Apple's terms and the purchase screen shown to you. The current U.S. list price is USD $4.99; taxes and local currency pricing may vary, and the price displayed by Apple at checkout controls.

Purchases, billing, taxes, refunds, family sharing, and restoration are handled under Apple's terms and policies. You can attempt to restore an eligible purchase using the same Apple Account. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the purchased app entitlement, not a promise of any minimum service period, future feature set, compatibility with every operating-system version, or perpetual support.

6. Changes, availability, and beta releases

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Renewlist. TestFlight and other pre-release versions may contain defects, change without notice, and be subject to additional Apple testing limits. We do not promise that any feature will remain available or that the app will be compatible with every device or future software release.

7. Ownership and feedback

We own Renewlist's software, original design, and branding. You retain any rights you have in information you enter. If you provide feedback, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use it without restriction or compensation.

8. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renewlist is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express, implied, or statutory.

This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, security, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that an estimated bill, amount, date, reminder, report, calculation, or iCloud sync will be complete, timely, or accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roscommon Group LLC and its owners, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, subscription access, payment opportunities, device availability, or security.

These limits apply to claims arising from or related to the app, an estimate or missed payment, Apple or iCloud services, or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility. To the same extent, our total aggregate liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to us for Renewlist during the preceding 12 months or USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so part of this section may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Roscommon Group LLC and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of Renewlist, violation of these Terms or law, or infringement of another person's rights.

11. Apple

These Terms are between you and Roscommon Group LLC, not Apple. Roscommon Group LLC, not Apple, is responsible for Renewlist and its support, subject to these Terms. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. To the extent required by applicable terms, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Apple is responsible for addressing any claim relating to Renewlist only to the extent its applicable terms require; nothing here expands Apple's obligations.

12. Disputes and governing law

Before filing a formal claim, contact us and allow 30 days to attempt an informal resolution. These Terms are governed by Washington law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not required by applicable law to be heard elsewhere will be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington. Mandatory consumer rights in your home jurisdiction remain unaffected.

13. General

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary and the remainder will stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, merger, or sale. We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date above. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. Questions may be sent using the contact information below.
