Renewlist

Privacy Policy

Effective September 5, 2026

How Renewlist handles information in the app and on this website.

1. Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy describes how Renewlist, an app operated by Roscommon Group LLC ("Renewlist", "we", or "us"), handles information. It applies to the Renewlist iOS and iPadOS app and the Renewlist pages on this website. It should be read with our Terms of Use.

2. The short version

Renewlist is local-first. It has no sign-up, advertising SDK, developer analytics SDK, cross-app tracking, or developer-operated user database.

We do not receive the contents of the subscription records you create in the app. When iCloud is available and enabled for Renewlist, Apple's CloudKit service can sync those records through your private iCloud account.

3. Information stored by the app

Renewlist stores the information you enter to track subscriptions: names, amounts, billing frequency and dates, categories, and payment-method labels. It also stores custom categories, payment-method labels and types, and app purchase-entitlement state. This information is stored on your device using Apple's local storage frameworks.

Payment-method entries are labels for your own organization, not payment processing. Do not enter full card numbers, bank-account numbers, passwords, security codes, or other credentials in Renewlist.

4. iCloud and CloudKit

If iCloud is available and you enable it for Renewlist, the app may copy and synchronize its records using the private database associated with your Apple Account in Apple's CloudKit service. Roscommon Group does not operate that database and does not intentionally access its contents. Apple's handling of iCloud and CloudKit is governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy.

You control iCloud through your Apple Account and device settings. Turning iCloud off can stop future sync; it does not necessarily erase every existing copy. You can remove records in the app and manage iCloud data through Apple's settings and tools. You are responsible for maintaining backups appropriate for your needs.

5. Purchases

Renewlist offers an optional one-time lifetime-premium purchase through Apple's StoreKit service. Apple processes payment credentials and transactions. The app reads purchase and entitlement information on your device so it can unlock features; we do not receive or store your full payment-card number or other payment credentials.

6. This website

The Renewlist legal and support pages are hosted by Vercel and use Google Analytics. Those providers may process IP address, browser and device information, referral data, page interactions, cookies, or similar identifiers to operate, secure, and measure this website. The Renewlist app itself does not embed these website analytics tools.

7. Use, disclosures, and retention

We do not sell app personal information or use app activity for targeted advertising. We may process support messages you choose to send us and website analytics as described above. We may disclose information if required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights, or the security of our services. Data on your device or in your private iCloud database is retained under your and Apple's controls, not in a Roscommon Group user database.

8. Security and children

We design Renewlist to minimize the information we handle. No device, cloud service, or transmission is perfectly secure. Renewlist is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

You can edit or delete subscription records in the app, adjust iCloud settings through Apple, and avoid providing sensitive information in labels. Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, including access, correction, deletion, or objection. Because Renewlist has no user account or developer-operated app database, we may not hold app information that can be linked to you. For privacy requests concerning support communications or this website, use the Roscommon Group contact form.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Renewlist changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions or requests may be sent using the contact information below.
