Your recipe library
Recipe Keep is operated by Roscommon Group LLC. The app stores recipe titles, ingredients, directions, source links, folders, favorites, notes, import receipts, and agreement records on your device. New agreement records contain the terms version, full terms text, agreement wording, a SHA-256 fingerprint of the terms, app version, and device-recorded acceptance date. Older records may contain fewer fields. The current version does not create a Roscommon account, collect your Apple Account identity, or send these records to a Roscommon server. Deleting a recipe removes it from the app; a minimal import receipt remains to track the free allowance.
Website imports and on-device AI
When you import or open a recipe URL, your device connects to the recipe website. That website and its infrastructure may receive your IP address, the requested URL, and normal connection information under their own privacy policies. Imports use an ephemeral network session without a persistent cookie store. Recipe Keep does not send recipe text to a cloud AI provider. When used, AI extraction runs on your device through Apple's Foundation Models framework.
Apple services and purchases
Apple processes subscriptions and payment information. The app reads verified purchase entitlement information to enable Premium. Roscommon Group does not receive your payment-card details. Apple may provide app developers with sales reports, diagnostic information, or TestFlight feedback under Apple's terms and your settings. Starting with version 1.0 build 2, Recipe Keep uses Apple CloudKit to sync the library and agreement records to your private iCloud database when iCloud is available. This includes recipe content, folders, notes, favorites, and the free-save ledger. Data uses your iCloud storage and syncs to devices using the same Apple Account with Recipe Keep enabled. Sync requires connectivity and available storage; it is not an independent backup, and edits and deletions sync. The app checks iCloud account availability but does not receive your Apple Account email address or password. Roscommon cannot independently browse your private iCloud library. Apple processes iCloud data under its own terms and privacy policy. Device backups may also contain local copies according to your settings.
Analytics and this website
The app has no advertising SDK, developer analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking. These Roscommon website pages are hosted by Vercel and use the website's Google Analytics integration. Website providers may process IP addresses, device and browser details, referrals, cookies, and page interactions. Those website tools are not embedded in the native app. See the website Privacy Policy.
Support, retention, and your choices
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send through our contact form and its service provider, Formspree. We use it to respond, maintain support records, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell app personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Local recipes can be edited or deleted in the app. You can manage iCloud access, app data, and device backups through Apple settings. Deleting the app alone may leave its iCloud data available for reinstallation. Turning off iCloud stops synchronization; it does not necessarily delete existing copies. Agreement records and the free-save ledger remain with the library unless you remove its stored data. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage subscriptions through your Apple Account.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. We cannot independently retrieve a recipe library or agreement record from your device or private iCloud database. These private agreement records are not a developer-accessible consent registry. Security, children, and changes
No storage or network system is guaranteed to be secure. The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We may revise this policy as features change; the date above identifies this version. We will describe material changes to collection or synchronization in an updated policy.
